Definition: “The act or process of supporting a cause or proposal.” This act or process usually has intentions in raising awareness, creating change, and or movement building to create systemic changes.
Types of Advocacy: Advocacy can occur in many forms, such as through education and research, lobbying, litigation, and organizing support.
